If Fabrizio had not existed...

I have discovered your magazine some 'years ago (in '92) when, alone in Milan, I bought the issue on newsstands on AIDS: the "lost identity", very nice and I keeps it jealously. Then I tried to find "A" in Naples, but I never found it, until (resigned) I decided to give it up. My name is Felice, I have 31 years and in March I should graduate in architecture. Although I call myself an anarchist in all, I consider myself a political "maverick" left and as you can guess I do not recognize myself in any of the parties that are defined and define themselves as "left" (I find it hard to understand what's the matter of left, eg., Giorgio Napolitano!). Despite these dark times of neo-consociativism of "globalization" poverty and conformity of minds, I think we still need to oppose and resist the increasingly rude right, arrogant and anti-libertarian. My initial curiosity for anarchy, then became interested, is because of my fervent love for Fabrizio De Andrè and his songs that for me are the things that make life worth living.

If Fabrizio had not existed , I'm sure that many people like me would have been different people, and certainly worse. From his songs, but also from his rare interviews, I was taught respect for the marginalized, the weakest, for "the disobedient servants to the laws of the pack," he sent emotion, culture, irony, and a "secular religiosity "lets you watch your neighbors especially the human side, and considering the limitations and weaknesses that make us just" human ". Thanks to hin I did know Brassens, Vitton, Boris Vian, Leonard Cohen, Kropotkin and especially Lee Masters. In addition to the established distrust and derision (innate in me) to any kind of power. For me will be indelible in the memory the first (and unfortunately only) concert I attended at the "Palapartenope of Naples in '91. I, 21 years old at the time, I knew well, "Clouds" and some "classic" I was stunned to hear songs like "River of Sand Creek", "the gorilla", "Geordie", "Old Town" and the eternal "Creuza de ma "and" The Will of Titus ".

As I said, thanks to him my life and my feelings changed. In practice I try to propagete "the word" of De Andrè to my friends and younger friends who do not know him but also to their peers and older who do not know him well (unfortunately) ...

Pending and confident of your answer, I greet you with sincere esteem, hoping that your "voice" rises and may always be distinguished from the herd.
Good resistance.
